John the Baptist Drawing Recreation. Resin cast about 8 1/2 by 11 inches. The Cave of John the Baptist was discovered in 1999 near Suba. In the cave is a drawing of John the Baptist holding a staff and probably a lamb next to him. This dates to the early Byzantine time.
