Papyrus Mud Scroll with Seal Recreation with real papyrus. A reproduction of a rolled scroll made with dark "mud" papyrus to look aged. This scroll has a clay bulla seal impression binding its cord to enclose the scroll. In order to open and read the scroll one would have to break the clay seal to remove the binding. The seal cannot be slid off the end of the scroll as it is attached through the scroll. This method shows evidence of tampering and ensures the contents of the scroll remain private.
