Yahweh Soleb Inscription Recreation (resin scale cast about 7 3/4 by 5 3/4 inches). The cartouche reads; The Shashu of Yahweh's Land. This is from the Soleb Temple of Amenhotep III in Nubia (modern Sudan) near Aswan. This is the oldest known inscription of the name "YHWH" from 14th century BC. Shashu was a term used by the Egyptians for wandering tribes.
