Nimrod's Seal recreation. Resin cast seal with seal impression. Some think Nimrod, the mighty hunter of the Bible is Gilgamesh (Genesis 10:8-10). This seal shows Gilgamesh (Nimrod) on the left fighting the bull of heaven and Enkidu his friend fighting Humbaba who had a lion’s face. Gilgamesh was a great hunter. Some identify him with the constellation Orion with Tarsus the Bull of Heaven attacking. See the ancient story of the Epic of Gilgamesh. Jewish legends say Nimrod built the Tower of Babel.
