Gilgamesh & Enkidu Seal Recreation. Resin cast seal and seal Impression. Seal is about 1 1/8 by 7/8 of an inch. This seal shows Gilgamesh on the left fighting the bull of heaven and Enkidu his friend fighting Humbaba who had a lion’s face. Gilgamesh was a great hunter. Some think Nimrod, the mighty hunter of the Bible is Gilgamesh (Genesis 10:8-10). Some identify him with the constellation Orion with Tarsus the bull in heaven facing him.
