Mari Seal Recreation. Resin cast seal and Seal impression. Seal is about 1 7/8 by 1 inch. This seal was found a Mari and dates between 2000 and 1500 BC. Mari at this time was controlled by Amorite rules. Seal shows Sun god holding a mace. Ea brings an offering. Ishtar on the right with her bright star (Venus).
