Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 3522: Book of Job LXX Recreation. This papyrus is vey important becaue it has the name of God written in ancient Hebrew. It dates to the 1st century AD. It is about 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches mounted in a 5 by 7 inch frame. The text is Job 42:11-12. Bernard P. Grenfell and Arthur S. Hunt were sent for to explore Egypt, and in 1897 they discovered in tons of waste ancient papyrus from the ancient city of Oxyrhynchus. This city was the center of Egyptian Christianity in the 4th and 5th centuries.
