Baths of Gadara Inscription (Resin cast about 9 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches tall.) This early Islamic inscription is written in Greek. Note the Christian symbol of the cross. It is dated to 42 of the Arabs, not the Hijra. This count is from 622 AD when the Arabs defeat the Sassanians. This would date it to 664 AD.
